Walker Institute has partnered with the Observatoire du Sahara et du Sahel (OSS) to exhibit at the 22nd United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP22), held in Marrakech, 7-18th November.
This partnership proves the successful work of the Walker Institute, and showcases our impact and collaboration while working alongside our colleagues to support the development of climate-resistant societies in South Asia and Africa.
OSS provides a North-South-South partnership framework to mobilise and strengthen the capacity of African member countries to meet the environmental challenges pertaining to sustainable development.
The Walker Institute at the University of Reading and the Sahara and Sahel Observatory will present their activities supporting climate resilient development in South Asia and Africa.
This includes works relating to climate impacts and Climate Change adaptation, disaster management, natural resources management and environmental monitoring.
